2007-2009 England Umbro Home Football Shirt

This England home jersey features a clean white base with Umbro's signature 'Trilogy' performance fabric, which was a highly technical material designed for moisture and heat regulation. Key design elements include a gold-embroidered Umbro diamond on the right chest, a gold holographic star above the Three Lions crest (symbolizing the 1966 World Cup victory), and a red shoulder 'flash' inspired by the Cross of St. George. The side panels consist of navy blue mesh featuring a stylized graphic print of the three lions, and the interior neck includes a red St. George's Cross graphic with the text 'ENGLAND FOOTBALL SHIRT BY UMBRO 2007-2009'.This jersey was worn during a turbulent period for the England national team, most notably during the unsuccessful qualifying campaign for UEFA Euro 2008 under manager Steve McClaren. It was the first kit worn by the 'Three Lions' at the newly rebuilt Wembley Stadium in their opening game against Brazil in June 2007. Despite the disappointment of missing out on Euro 2008, the kit was also worn during the early, successful qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup under Fabio Capello, including the famous 4-1 victory over Croatia in Zagreb where Theo Walcott scored a hat-trick.
