2000-2003 Columbus Blue Jackets NHL Away Football Shirt

A vintage Women's CCM replica hockey jersey for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the white 'home' colorway (standard for the era). It features the team's inaugural primary 'CBJ' ribbon and stick logo on the front, with the 'Stinger' mascot patch on the left shoulder and a circular alternate wordmark crest on the right shoulder. The jersey is constructed from polyester air-knit fabric and includes embroidered/sewn patches, which is characteristic of higher-quality CCM replicas manufactured in Korea during this period.The Columbus Blue Jackets joined the NHL as an expansion team in 2000. Their name was chosen to honor the many residents of Ohio who served in the Union Army during the American Civil War, who were famously known as 'Blue Jackets'. The original logo, designed by Ken Loh, incorporated 13 stars representing the original colonies and stylized letters to form 'CBJ'.
