2010 Mexico Adidas Away Football Shirt 10World Cup

An all-black away kit featuring an intricate, all-over embossed 'feather' or 'plume' pattern inspired by the Aztec eagle. It includes the iconic Adidas three stripes in red on the shoulders, a V-neck collar with red piping, and green/red color-blocked accents on the sleeve cuffs. The national team crest and Adidas logo are heat-pressed on the chest, along with a white heat-pressed number '10' on the front right. The fabric utilizes Adidas Climacool technology for moisture management. This kit represented a bold shift for Mexico, being their first-ever official black away jersey.This jersey is historically significant as the first black away kit in the history of the Mexican national team, breaking from their traditional white or maroon away colors. It was famously worn during the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup against host nation South Africa. The black colorway proved so popular with fans that it became a frequent choice for Mexico's alternative kits in subsequent years. The number 10 was worn by legendary forward Cuauhtémoc Blanco during the 2010 tournament, where he became the first Mexican player to score in three different World Cups.
