2008-2010 FC Schalke 04 Adidas Home Football Shirt Bundesliga Gazprom

This is the FC Schalke 04 home jersey for the 2008-2010 seasons, manufactured by Adidas. The design features a royal blue main body with prominent white side panels and three white Adidas stripes on the shoulders. A unique feature of this kit is the white crew-neck collar with 'FC SCHALKE 04' printed on the front, and the internal neck tape which carries the club motto 'EIN LEBEN LANG, BLAU UND WEISS EIN LEBEN LANG'. The Adidas logo is centered below the collar. The fabric is a lightweight performance polyester featuring Adidas' Climacool technology, and the Gazprom sponsor logo on the chest is a heat-pressed vinyl that shows significant fading and wear in this specific example.This jersey was worn during a successful period for 'Die Königsblauen' (The Royal Blues). Under manager Felix Magath in the 2009-10 season, Schalke finished 2nd in the Bundesliga, narrowly missing out on the title but securing Champions League qualification.
