A performance-style short-sleeve jersey featuring a black base with distinctive red panels on the upper shoulders and sides. The shirt is accented with a classic flat-fold collar and white trim at the sleeve cuffs and bottom hem. It features the embroidered AFC Bournemouth crest on the chest, a small Carbrini brand logo above it, and a large 'carbrini sportswear' sponsor logo centered in a heat-pressed black box. This kit was manufactured during the club's tenure in the lower tiers of the English Football League, characterized by the 'sticker-style' sponsor application common for Carbrini shirts of that era.This jersey is associated with one of the most significant periods in AFC Bournemouth's history. Worn during the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons, it witnessed the 'Great Escape' when the club, led by manager Eddie Howe, overcame a 17-point deduction to avoid relegation from League Two. The shirt was also worn during the subsequent 2009-10 season when the team finished second in League Two, securing promotion to League One and beginning their historic rise to the Premier League.
