This specific design was the home kit for the team's inaugural season in Major League Soccer.Club Deportivo Chivas USA was an American professional soccer club founded in 2004 as an expansion team of Major League Soccer (MLS). It was established as a subsidiary of the famous Mexican club C.D. Guadalajara, sharing its 'Chivas' nickname and iconic red-and-white striped branding. The team played its home games at the Home Depot Center (now Dignity Health Sports Park) in Carson, California, shared with their rivals, the LA Galaxy. Chivas USA competed for ten seasons before ceasing operations in 2014, eventually being replaced in the market by Los Angeles FC (LAFC).
