This specific design was notable for being the first to 'break' the continuous hoops with side panels, a move that was initially controversial among traditionalists but became legendary due to the team's success in this era.This jersey is most famously associated with Celtic's 'Road to Seville,' where they reached the 2003 UEFA Cup Final under manager Martin O'Neill, eventually losing 3-2 to Jose Mourinho's Porto.
