2001-2002 RC Celta de Vigo Umbro Third Football Shirt La Liga Citroën

This is an authentic Celta Vigo away jersey from the 2001-02 season, manufactured by Umbro. The shirt features a navy blue body with contrasting sky blue panels on the shoulders and sleeves, separated by thin white piping. The fabric is made of a technical polyester with a distinctive textured diamond/hexagonal pattern, a signature of Umbro's performance kits from the early 2000s. The 'CITROËN' sponsor is screen-printed in white across the chest, and the club's crest is embroidered on the left side alongside the Umbro logo on the right.This jersey dates from the 'EuroCelta' era, a period in the late 1990s and early 2000s when Celta Vigo was one of the strongest teams in Spain, regularly qualifying for the UEFA Cup and eventually the Champions League (2003-04). During the 2001-02 season, the team finished 5th in La Liga. The shirt features the logo of Citroën, whose sponsorship of Celta Vigo (1986-2016) is one of the longest-running and most iconic partnerships in Spanish football history, due to the brand's major factory being located in the city of Vigo.
