1996-1997 Italy Nike Away Football Shirt UEFA Euro 1996

This is an authentic Nike replica away jersey for the Italian national football team, featuring a white base with a blue ribbed V-neck collar and matching sleeve cuffs, both adorned with a central gold stripe. The sleeve cuffs also incorporate the Italian tricolor flag detailing. The chest features an embroidered Nike swoosh in gold and the FIGC (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio) crest with three stars. The jersey is made from 100% polyester using Nike's Dri-FIT moisture-wicking technology, as evidenced by the branding on the sleeve.This jersey represents the brief and iconic partnership between Nike and Italy, which lasted only from 1995 to 1998. During this period, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) famously prohibited the display of manufacturer logos on kits during official matches. As a result, the players wore 'clean' versions of this design without the Nike swoosh, while retail replicas like the one pictured were sold with the logo included. This era is highly regarded by collectors for its unique '90s tailoring and the use of gold accents to celebrate Italy's three World Cup titles.
