1990-1992 Germany Adidas Football Shirt

This is a vintage Adidas West Germany (DFB) training or leisure t-shirt from the late 1980s to early 1990s. The shirt features a clean white base with a prominent horizontal black band across the chest and stomach. The shoulders and upper sleeves are highlighted with red panels accented by a thin yellow stripe, completing the German national flag color scheme. It includes a ribbed crew neck and screen-printed or embroidered logos: the 'Deutscher Fussball-Bund' (DFB) eagle crest on the left chest and the classic Adidas trefoil logo on the right. The fabric is a typical poly-cotton blend used for athletic training wear during this period. This design is a simplified training variation of the iconic 1988-1992 match kit template. This era is one of the most celebrated in German football history, culminating in (West) Germany's third World Cup title in 1990. The design was part of the first major departure from plain white shirts for the DFB, introducing the bold black, red, and gold flag colors into the core of the jersey's aesthetic.
